Position Overview:

As a Graduate ESG Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our ESG research, analysis, and integration efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or trainee who is eager to embark on a career in sustainable finance and make a meaningful contribution to addressing global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance practices of companies within our investment universe. Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to assess ESG performance.

Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and organize relevant ESG data and metrics, including environmental impact indicators, social performance metrics, and governance-related disclosures. Prepare insightful reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

Performance Evaluation: Evaluate companies' ESG performance against industry standards, benchmarks, and regulatory requirements. Identify key ESG risks and opportunities to inform investment decision-making processes.

Engagement and Communication: Engage with company management, investors, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations related to ESG performance. Assist in the development of ESG engagement strategies and initiatives.

Training and Development: Participate in training programs and initiatives designed to enhance your knowledge and skills in ESG analysis, sustainable finance, and responsible investing. Collaborate with experienced professionals to further your career development.

Contribution to Strategy: Contribute ideas and insights to enhance our firm's ESG integration strategy and approach. Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory developments in the field of sustainable finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Passion for sustainability, ethical investing, and corporate responsibility.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience or coursework in ESG analysis, sustainable finance, or related areas is desirable but not essential.
• Candidates that have completed or working towards professional qualifications on top their academic qualifications in the regulation sector will have higher priority
