We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as Trainee Accountants. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and undergo practical training covering all aspects of accountancy, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting. Additionally, candidates must already possess or be actively working towards obtaining an AML (Anti-Money Laundering) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing bookkeeping duties, such as reconciling bank statements and accounts.
• Contributing to the preparation of tax returns.
• Learning and applying accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
• Engaging with clients and stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.
• Participating in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Providing administrative support as needed.
• Adhering to anti-money laundering regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Possession of a current AML (Anti-Money Laundering) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prioritisation of tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
• Experience with accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB is advantageous.
